Shoot at golden hour

The magical time frame before sunset is the best time of day to photograph. And this quality of light can create an impressive setting to help you capture breathtaking landscape photos. You can also get creative with shadows, shadows, sunsets and angles.

Note about the layout

When social forums are like a visual story, photo composition is the way you tell that story. It is important to have the focus because the focus directs the viewer’s eyes to the most important part of the image or area you want to emphasize. Apply the Rule of Thirds to help you bring out the subject of your photo – the landscape itself. Or identify key contours such as a road or horizon to create a flow that takes your audience to the subject.

Find a wide backdrop

If you are shooting from a vantage point above, adjust a moderate portion of the sky to show off the unique view of the landscape. Or produce daring landscape photos from a low angle. Remember to shoot at the widest angle possible but still maintain the balance of the image.

Perspective with people

Adding a person or yourself to landscape photos helps viewers feel like they are entering the scene and feel as if they are right there. This also gives the viewer a point to stop. Tip: Pay attention to bright and vibrant outfits as it helps to bring out the subject in the landscape.

Know the depth of field

Depth of field is key to capturing stunning landscape photos. While most photographers use a greater depth of field to ensure the main part of the image is sharp, a shallow depth of field can create dreamy landscape photos. Use depth of field to isolate the subject from the background and keep the subject sharp, while the rest of the image is blurred. Remember the smaller the aperture, the greater the depth of field.
